“We invite West Virginia job seekers looking to take the next step in their careers, or explore new job opportunities, to register now for the April 3 Statewide Virtual Job Fair,” said Scott Adkins, Acting Commissioner of WorkForce West Virginia. “This is a great opportunity for job seekers to virtually apply, live chat, video chat and interview with participating companies all across West Virginia.”

Since the monthly Statewide Virtual Job Fairs were introduced in 2022, over 11,000 West Virginian job seekers and more than 2,200 employers  have registered to participate, garnering over 105,000 booth visits.

“These Statewide Virtual Job Fairs are a fantastic opportunity for West Virginia employers to connect with a diverse pool of talent from across the state,” said James Bailey, Secretary of the WV Department of Commerce.

When attending the event, job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and have a calm, clutter-free background, as employers may request to engage in a video interview. The Virtual Statewide Job Fair portal features a Job Seeker Training video, a list of participating employers, and channels for attendees to register and log in.

After registering for the first time, new employers will create a “Virtual Booth” to connect with job seekers. After completion, this booth will be available during subsequent job fairs. Click here to register as an employer for the April 3 event.
