Rapid Response
Rapid Response incorporates the strategies and activities necessary to plan for and respond as quickly as possible following an announcement of a permanent closure or mass layoff. The State Dislocated Worker Services Unit oversees the general coordination of Rapid Response activities in the state, with cooperation from the local Workforce Development Boards and the American Job Centers. Our goal is to provide timely services to workers in making the transition less overwhelming as they explore available employment opportunities, training options, and partner agency assistance.
