February 2015 County Unemployment Data
Published: August 26, 2015West Virginia’s not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased from 7.0 to 7.6 percent in February 2015. Unemployment rates increased in all 55 counties. Counties with unemployment rates above 14.0 percent included McDowell (14.4) and Calhoun (14.8). Counties with an unemployment rate at 6.0 percent and below included Pendleton (6.0), Berkeley (5.9), Monongalia (5.1), and Jefferson (5.0). The state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased two tenths of a percentage point to 6.1 percent.
