On the Job Training

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) On-the-Job Training (OJT) program aims to benefit both employers and job seekers by offering specialized employment and training services. This initiative allows employers to hire and train new employees while receiving reimbursements for a portion of the training costs. It provides job seekers with the chance to earn a wage while acquiring essential skills and experience in an actual work setting. By aligning job seekers’ abilities with employers’ requirements, WIOA OJT promotes economic growth and improves workforce development, thereby contributing to a more skilled and competitive labor force.
